Dental Bridges in Century City, Beverly Hills & Los Angeles

If you have one or more missing teeth, your smile and dental health can be seriously affected. Missing teeth can cause a shift in the alignment of your teeth and put you at increased risk for Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ), tooth decay and periodontal disease.

Bridges adhere to your natural teeth and cover gaps created by one or more missing teeth.

Bridges can:

  • Restore your smile
  • Help you nutritionally by restoring your ability to chew and speak properly
  • Improves the shape and contour of your face
  • Boosted facial comfort
  • Give you a healthy and harmonious bite by replacing missing teeth
  • Prevent remaining teeth from moving and drifting out of position

Our dentists use the finest quality laboratories in an effort to provide our patients safe, stable bridges that will help your dental health and give you your dream smile.

What is the process for getting a dental bridge?

During the first visit to our practice, we prepare the abutment teeth and recontour the teeth by removing a portion of enamel to allow room for a crown to be placed over them. Next, we take impressions of your teeth and use them a model from which the bridge, pontic, and crowns will be made. Before leaving, we will make you a temporary bridge for you to wear to protect the exposed teeth and gums while your bridge is being made.

During your second visit, your temporary bridge will be removed and we will check and adjust your new permanent bridge, as needed, to achieve a proper fit. The need for adjustments is dependent on each patient.

Bridges are vital in protecting the balance of your bite (proper occlusion), but also the shape and contour of your facial features as well.
