Emergency Dentist in Century City, Beverly Hills & Los Angeles

If you have a dental emergency, you must be treated immediately. Visiting our dentists as soon as possible gives you a higher chance of saving your tooth, root, and the surrounding nerves. If you wait too long, even an hour or more, your nerves can be damaged and the tooth cannot be saved.

Because a dental emergency can happen at any time of “before” day, taking these precautions and acting quickly will give you a higher chance of recovery.

If your tooth gets knocked out

It is very important that you go to our office immediately to be treated by one of our cosmetic dentists. If brought in within 30 minutes, your chance of saving the tooth is very high. It is important that you do not rub or clean the tooth that has fallen out. Do not touch the root of the tooth, only the crown. You may rinse it with saliva, milk, or salt water and place it inside the socket. Hold it in place until you arrive to our office.

If you chip or fracture your tooth

You should see one of our dentists within 1-2 hours. This will reduce the risk of infection and the loss of your tooth. If you are bleeding, do not apply pressure to the actual tooth. Only apply pressure with a clean cloth over your gums. Rinse your mouth with warm water and apply a cold compress over the surrounding gums, not the tooth, to reduce swelling. If you find the piece of tooth that has been chipped off, rinse it with saliva, milk, or salt water and bring it with you to our office. If brought in right away, you have a higher chance of reattaching the piece of tooth.

Time is the number one factor for saving your teeth when an emergency occurs. Get to our office immediately and you will have a higher chance of saving your teeth and your smile. Our professional staff will treat you with the utmost care to make your emergency as smooth as possible and return you back to normal.
