Reliable Dental Check-Up in Century City, Beverly Hills & Los Angeles

During your first appointment, an hour will be set aside to fully review your medical history, discuss any questions or dental concerns you may have, and fully analyze and document your oral health. This analysis involves taking any review, any necessary x-rays, full tooth-by-tooth exam, an exam of your temporomandibular joints, intra-oral soft tissues, bite exam and more. At the end of your comprehensive exam, Dr. Nayssan will sit down and work out a customized treatment plan that addresses any potential oral problems or areas of concern.

Additionally, your dental check ups include screenings for oral cancer, a serious oral disease of the mouth, lips, or throat, but highly curable if detected and treated early.

Since your oral health is closely related to your overall health, it’s important to communicate any concerns or problems you are having with our practice. Be sure to:

  • Update our practice about any new health problems you have been diagnosed with since your last visit (for example, diabetes or heart disease).
  • Make a list of all medications and supplements you take, including their dosages. Take this list with you to your dental checkup so your we can review it.
  • Let us know if you suffer from dental anxiety. Fear of the dentist is common, and your dentist can work with you to make you more comfortable during your checkup.
  • Talk with your us about any problems or changes you’ve noticed with your teeth, gums, or the inside of your mouth. The earlier your dentist knows about pain, sensitivity, or a suspicious lump, the earlier he or she can diagnose and treat it.
